Now, here's a little bit of trivia:   Before I became a comic / actor, I was an Interior Designer.  I put myself through school for Interior Design and worked in that field for several years but realized I liked going in people’s houses more than I liked the actual career!  And now, thanks to bad cable TV shows, I can do that from my sofa!
BUT  I love-LOVE fabrics, color, & great design-whether it be Interiors or Fashion! I still like to keep my finger on the pulse of what’s new and fabulous in the design world. (My hobby and indulgence)  I will occasionally help out a friend or family member with a fashion emergency or home décor dilemma.....(no email requests please!)  But, for fun advice look for my “Design Gal” comic strip coming soon!

Another pivotal moment in my life lead me to discover how much I enjoy writing.  When I was in 8th grade my Language Arts teacher asked us to write a story about ourselves. The teacher liked my story so much that she asked me to read it in front of the class. I got some laughs and it was a lot of fun, even though it was a story about how I almost choked to death (is there any other way to choke?) on a hard candy until my brother had to shake me upside down by my ankles to dislodge it… but whatever. (To this day, my bro can’t swallow pills…no, really)

The thing is I learned some things that day. My dislike for hard candy and also for being shaken upside down by my ankles. I also learned that it's fun to make people laugh and that I am forever indebted to my big brother for saving my life that day. (At least that's what he's always telling me.)

So, let's review…

I dislike:

  • Hard candy
  • Being shaken upside down by my ankles
  • Bad design shows

I like:

  • Stand up comedy
  • Bad design shows

…thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you at a show!
